Solar Heater Do It Yourself

I found a very nice picture of home made Solar Heater.

Phillip Torrone, the owner of this Solar heater said he need these Ingredients to build his Solar Water Heater.

Ingredients:

  • 2x6 lumber
  • 2x4 lumber
  • 2x2 lumber
  • glass, plexiglass, or some kind of clear material.
  • black aluminum screen
  • caulking, paint, screws, lag screws, staple gun + other tools
That's a great idea and well done. Congratulation.

How Does Solar Powered Water-heater Works?

Solar powered water heater usually takes the shape of glass, roof-assembled panel of collector with pipes inside. The heat of the sun is captured inside the panel, and is transferred, by the intermediary of an insulated shock absorber, to water or heat-transfer the fluid crossing the pipes and then to your cylinder from hot water. The principle must in the bottle of thermos flask and much more with the effect of hot greenhouse. For households without tank storage (a water hand-EDF or a boiler of ' combi ', for example) one of reheating of solar water is less feasible.
